Lyn Schipper in New York Times

The headline to this post will cause shivers up the spine of the corrupt power structure in St. Charles County. Schipper, who is my partner on Fish & Ships (the most dangerous 15 minutes of radio), has a tendency to tell the truth about his fellow Republicans and the politics of this county. And while it is true Schipper was quoted in a New York Times article, his quote was only in regard to the upcoming presidential election. Schipper stated;
  • “The problem is there is a not a knock-your-socks-off candidate out there that really stands for what the Republicans and, more importantly, what the conservatives say,” said Lyn J. Schipper, 40, the leader of a Republican club in the county. “I think that what you’re seeing is a transformation from the Ronald Reagan-esque candidate who everyone gathered around to such a splintering.”

So now you can all relax and get back to your regular scheduled scheming, back room deals and law breaking. Your dirty little secrets have not been splashed all over the New York Times. Yet. Just joking; but I do like to see you squirm.
